The symbol
stands for "%".
The "concentration input" in the CNTCT operating mode is intended for the metering of a product to provide
a specific mass concentration despite a variable flow of medium via tubing.
The necessary conditions are that:
• the flow has the mass density of water (1 kg/L)
• the mass concentration of the metering solution is known (see safety data sheet of the metering solution,
e. g. at 35 % conc. sulphuric acid: 35 %)
• the mass density of the metering solution is known (see safety data sheet of the metering solution, e. g. at
35 % conc. sulphuric acid: 1.26 kg/L ^ = g/cm
• a contact water meter is hydraulically installed and connected to the external intake of the metering pump.
