Calibrate the metering pump if not yet calibrated (see "Operating instruction manual ProMinent
solenoid metering pump").
Select the CNTCT operating mode (Contact)(where applicable, existing settings from the Manual operating
mode are saved)
Select the CONC menu in the SET menu
The measurement unit for the contact interval is displayed in the first menu option (L/P or GAL/P;
the measurement unit for the volume is selected during calibration under UNIT)
Input the contact interval
Enter the mass concentration for the dosing medium
Select the unit fort he mass concentration for the dosing medium
Enter the density of the dosing medium
Select the unit for the density of the metering solution
A permanent display appears after pressing the P key
Use the i key to switch to the permanent display for the concentration
Use the arrow keys to input the required mass concentration (the stroke rate is changed accordingly).
IMPORTANT
• Note the decimal point!
• The value of the mass concentration varies with changing stroke length!
NOTE
• The final digits of the value in the permanent display cannot be changed using the arrow keys.
The value changes in increments obtained from the input data.
• The stroke length should not be adjusted exceeding +/- 10 % because the calibration and thus the
concentration value become invalid in this case (identifier Calib is flashing)!
