Inner Container
Condensation may form between the inner and outer containers. This water may
freeze during operation and make it diffi cult to remove the inner container. You
should therefore wait until the inner container has reached room temperature
before you remove it and clean it.
1. Remove the inner container using the ring holder from the outer container and clean
both with clear, warm water and mild detergent.
2. Then dry both of them thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Outlet Unit
1. Remove the outlet unit from the outer container (see the "Use" chapter, step 10) and
clean it with clear, warm water and mild detergent.
2. Then dry the inner container thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Outer Container
1. Remove the outer container from the base and clean it if necessary with clear, warm
water and mild detergent.
2. Then dry the outer container thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Base
1. Clean the base if necessary with clear, warm water and mild detergent.
2. Then dry the base thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Storage
Store the device in a dry place that is protected from sunlight and is not accessible to
children and animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device stops working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself.
Do not carry out any repairs yourself to the device, the connecting cable or
the mains plug!
Problem

Possible cause / solution
• Is the device being used for the fi rst time?
A smell often develops when new devices are fi rst used.
The smell should disappear after you have used the
device several times.
• The device is defective.
