3. Remove the mixture from the water bath and allow it to cool to room temperature.
Keep whisking as this happens.
4. Mix the vanilla thoroughly with the milk and the whipped cream and add to the egg
and sugar mixture and fold in well.
5. Place the ice cream mixture in the fridge for at least 2 - 4 hours and allow it to cool
down.
Tip: The cooler the ice cream mixture, the better and faster you will get your ice
cream! If necessary, simply place it in the fridge again.
6. Proceed in the manner described in the „Use" chapter.
Please note that you cannot serve milk ice cream via the outlet unit, but rather
must remove the inner container from the ice cream maker. Remove the ice
cream from the inner container.
Sorbet
Lemon sorbet
Ingredients:
– 150 g sugar
– 250 ml water
– 2 lemons
– 1 egg white
– A couple of mint leaves (if required)
1. Peel the lemons.
2. Boil up the peel in water for a short time together with the sugar and, if you wish, the
chopped-up mint leaves.
3. Remove the lemon peel and allow the liquid to cool down.
4. Add the juice of the lemons.
5. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the mixture.
6. Place the ice cream mixture in the fridge for at least 2 - 4 hours and allow it to cool
down.

cream! If necessary, simply place it in the fridge again.

General Information About Making Ice Cream
If the ice cream mixture does not freeze properly in the machine, check or note the
following:
•
does your freezing device get to a temperature of at least -18°C
•
avoid opening the freezing device too often during the cooling time
•
do not leave the inner container outside the device for too long before pouring in the
ice cream mixture
•
the ingredients which are poured in should be as cool as possible, if necessary
place them in the fridge again
