The following table indicates the consumption of
detergent in relation to the values shown on the
outer scale.

The exact dosage is dependent upon:
viscosity of the detergent
height from which it is being drawn into the
unit
flow resistance in the high-pressure line
If an exact dosage is required, the amount of
detergent drawn into the unit must be measured
separately (e.g. by drawing the detergent out of
a measuring beaker).
Recommendations concerning detergents can
be found in the "Accessories" section.
8. Filling Up With Liquid Softener

Important!
If the unit is operated without any liquid softener
the continous-flow heater can become calcified.
If the liquid softener container (a) is empty,
the scale inhibitor indicator light (I) flashes.

9. Shut-down procedure
If using aggressive detergents:
– adjust the temperature regulator (B) in hot
water mode to the lowest temperature
– Use the unit for at least 30 seconds
without detergent prior to the shut-down
procedure.
Turn unit off at main switch (A).
Turn off water supply.
Open hand gun, and wait until all water
pressure has dissipated.
Apply the catch to prevent hand gun from
being inadvertently opened.
If the unit is to be shut down for a longer
period of time, switch off and secure at the
mains.
