6 Maintenance
6.1 Update and data read-out
Do not connect external hard drives; the control unit does not work with external hard drives (max. 100 mA power supply).
Before use, the USB stick must be formatted with FAT and assigned a name using a Windows PC. When a USB flash drive
is connected to the control unit, it will be recognised automatically. Then the data exchange menu will appear with these
selection options:
|0.1 Data read out|
|0.2 Software update|
|0.3 Read in parameter|
If the |0 System info| menu is displayed, the ESC button can be used to select the
previously described menu |Data transfer|.

Replace battery/ batteries
The control unit is equipped with batteries in case of a power
outage. These batteries must be replaced if this is indicated
on the display.
NOTICE
Disconnect system from energy sources!
Ensure that the electrical components are dis-
connected from the electrical power supply dur-
ing the work.
Put the main switch (1) at the control unit into the OFF
position, and open up the housing.
Remove cable ties, unplug both batteries (2) and replace
with new ones.
Plug in new batteries and fix with cable ties.
