Connecting the wastewater pump(s)
Before connecting the pump, check whether the motor
protection switch of the control unit is suitable for the
power consumption of the pump(s) (see type plate).
If necessary, set the motor protection switch to the nomi-
nal current of the pump (see type plate of the pump).
Pull the connection cable through the housing passage(s)
and tighten in the same ways as the cable gland of the
mains cable.
Make connections as shown in the connection diagram.

Connect sensors and control
A connection overview of the printed boards is given at the end of this chapter.
Alarm probe
Lay the alarm probe sensor cable (red marking).
Remove protective cap(s).
Check whether a spacer ring is installed.
Push the Phoenix contact connector onto the connection (arrow pointing upwards).
Use a spanner (15mm) to tighten the Phönix contact connector up to the spacer ring stop or up to a distance of 1-2mm
(no spacer ring).
Control for motorised flap
If using with Pumpfix/Ecolift XL, the optical probe for
motorised flap 1 must be connected to the grey Phönix
contact connector on the underside of the control unit.
The procedure is the same as that for mounting the alarm
probe. Connect the control cable for the motorised flap as
described below.
If available, motorised flap 2 must be connected to the
redundant control unit as described in the instructions
enclosed with the redundant control unit.
Lay the control cable for motorised flap up to the connec-
tor.
Remove protective cap(s).
Check whether a spacer ring is installed.
