Overview of connections for the level sensor
Use KESSEL junction box (art. no. 28799) to lengthen the
connection cable of the level sensor.
Level sensor (ATEX)
Connect the ends of the ATEX level sensor cable to the
Zener barrier and the equipotential bonding. The connection
of level sensors is identical for both Mono and Duo systems.
Use KESSEL junction box (art. no. 28799) to lengthen the

Control for motorised flap
If using with Pumpfix/Ecolift XL, the optical probe for
motorised flap 1 must be connected to the grey Phönix
contact connector on the underside of the control unit.
The procedure is the same as that for mounting the alarm
probe. Connect the control cable for the motorised flap as
described below.
If available, motorised flap 2 must be connected to the
redundant control unit as described in the instructions
enclosed with the redundant control unit.
Lay the control cable for motorised flap up to the connec-
tor.
Remove protective cap(s).
Check whether a spacer ring is installed.
Push the Phoenix contact connector onto the connection
(arrow pointing upwards).
Use a spanner (15mm) to tighten the Phönix contact con-
nector up to the spacer ring stop or up to a distance of
1-2mm (no spacer ring).

Installing the redundant control unit
If using an Ecolift XL with two motorised flaps, a redundant connection is required. Connect the redundant connection to the
"LIN BUS" terminal block as described in the instructions of the redundant control unit.

Further connection possibilities
TeleControl GSM modem
Mount the TeleControl modem (art. no. 28792) as described in the corresponding installation instructions 434-033.
Routing the USB connection out
To ensure that the USB connection on the printed board can be accessed without opening the housing, a USB housing
socket with cable and connector for installation in the housing of the control unit can be ordered from KESSEL (art. no.
28785).
