CONSTRUCT CEILING FRAMING
NOTE: A MINIMUM CEILING OPENING OF 10" IS REQUIRED
TO ACCOMMODATE THE DUCTWORK. SEE ILLUSTRATION
BELOW.
1. Use 2x4's to construct the support framing. The considerable
weight of the blower and hood make this necessary.
2. Mark the center line of the installation. Nail two 2x4's (wide side
down) so that their inner edges are 9-3/4" from the center line.
3. 36" AND WIDER HOODS: Nail a second set of 2x4's (wide side
down) so that their outer edges are the hood-width apart.
4. Make two wood spacers: 2" x 10-1/2" x drywall thickness. Attach
them to framing as shown - flush with inner edges of framing and
with front edges 11-1/2" from finished back wall.

1. Use 10" round ductwork (for 326H, 331H, 332H, 335 or 336 Blower),
or 7" round ductwork (for 325H Blower). Run ductwork from roof
cap, wall cap, or remote blower to the installation location. For best
performance, use the straightest possible duct run and the fewest
number of elbows. Tape all joints.
2. Run 120 VAC electrical power cable from service panel to installa-
tion location.
