Fault
Plastic straps not sealed
properly, the seal is not
OK. The upper strap is
not cut completely or it is
irregular.
During welding both
straps are cut.
Lever 2 (welding) has
been actuated, but the
motor does not start the
welding operation.
Job data like tensioning
force and welding time
cannot be entered and do
not remain saved.
Following the welding
cycle the tool cannot be
detached from the strap,
lever 3
(blocking/loosening) must
be actuated with
enormous force being
applied.

Cause
Cutter blade and/or welding
platelet worn or defective.
The welding platelet is polluted
and slips over the strap.
Welding time too short.
Li-Po storage battery defective or
insufficiently charged.
Welding motor and/or board
defective.
Use of inappropriate plastic strap.
Welding time too long and/or
strap tension too strong.
Lower strap holding platelet worn
or polluted.
Loose cable connection of the
microswitch or it is not activated
by the cam or it is defective.
Keyboard display or board
defective.
Detension unit is not released /
deblocked.
Detension unit is blocked by
something or it is damaged.
Reduction gear unit damaged.

Remedy
Perform visual inspection; if
required, replace cutter blade
and/or welding platelet.
Clean the welding platelet.
Check the welding time and enter
a higher value, if applicable.
Check charge of Li-Po storage
battery and recharge or, if req'd,
replace it.
Check welding motor and/or
board; if damages are visible,
contact TITAN service.
Check plastic strap, does it meet
necessary requirements? If not,
use plastic strap meeting the
requirements of the tool.
Correct value set on the
keyboard display downward.
Clean strap holding platelet or
replace it, if required.
Check micro switch (90), it is
found below button 1 (91).
Should you detect visible
damage, contact TITAN service
dept.
Contact TITAN service dept.
Slightly pull lever 3 (79) (do not
pull it completely) and check
whether the non-return unit is
deblocked. Contact TITAN
service dept.
Check if foreign objects are found
in the detension unit or if visible
damage can be detected.
Contact TITAN service dept.
Check if the reduction gear unit
can be turned easily and evenly.
