CONNECTION OF THE VMF-IO ACCESSORY TO THE GLFI10M

The VMF-E1 thermostat can be fitted with the VMF-IO expansion, which has:
1) 2 digital outputs (60V DC 2A relay contacts)
2) 2 digital inputs
3) 8 dip switches

• With dip1 ÷ dip7 select the modbus address to be associated with the electrical box to which the expansion is
connected. The value of the address will be memorized by the thermostat and will be used even if the expansion
is removed. If dip1 ÷ dip 7 are all OFF, the electrical box interprets this configuration as an invalid address condi-
tion.
• Dip switch 8 is used to select the operation of the digital outputs.
DIP 8: OFF
Out 1: indicates whether the thermostat is enabled to work via the local user interface and window contact input
Out 2: indicates the activation of a system alarm
DIP 8: ON
Out 1: indicates a thermostat operating request
Out 2: indicates the operating season (contact open - summer / contact closed - winter)
