Several charging units can also be connected to a single smartphone (not simultaneously). Conversely, one and the same
NRGkick can be accessed simultaneously with several smartphones when connected via WiFi, Cloud or GSM. Exception: A
connection via Bluetooth cannot be established by more than one smartphone at the same time.
In the event that you have changed the NRGkick's access code and can no longer access the charging unit, e.g. due to a new
smartphone, because you have forgotten it, you can perform a so-called "soft reset". This resets the NRGkick's access code
to the factory settings. Note that this will also reset all other settings of the NRGkick such as WiFi networks, time control,
language, unit system, time zone, cost per kWh, currency, battery capacity, consumption and consumption unit.
The Access Code for the charging unit can be reset as follows:
1)
Connect the charging unit to the power grid.
2)
First, the 8A LED flashes eight times. As soon as the 13A LED lights up (and all other LEDs start to light up one after
the other), place your finger on the 24A LED display and leave it there.
3)
While your finger is still on the 24A LED, you will notice that all LEDs flash 4 times - this is normal and part of the
charging unit's self-check.
4)
Keep your finger on the 24A LED until the LEDs run "up and down" twice in succession - i.e. twice from 6A to 32A
and back again.
5)
After this, the charging unit is again assigned the factory access code, which you will find on the back of the type
plate as part of the serial number (see point 7.1).
Note: The Access Code can only be reset if the vehicle connector is unlocked and unplugged to prevent the unit being
tampered with by unauthorized persons.

8. Maintenance

The charging unit is maintenance-free. Regularly check the housing of the charging unit, the charging cables and the
connectors by a visual check for external damage. If damage is found, the charging unit may under no circumstances be used.

9. Cleaning

If required, clean the charging unit with a damp cloth. Avoid cleaning agents with solvents.

10. Registration/permission by the network operator

Please note that your network operator may require you to register and/or acquire a permission for your charging equipment
for electric vehicles and comply with the respective regulations of the network operator. For example the essential
requirements for Germany are consolidated in the VDE-AR-N 4100:2019-04.
