6. Smart Attachments

Only use Smart Attachments and accessories supplied with the charging unit or those approved by DiniTech GmbH.
Take note of the maximum current that can be set for the specific Smart Attachment!
In addition, NRGkick features an automatic detection of the Smart Attachments. This ensures that the maximum permitted
charging current for which the Smart Attachment has been approved for cannot be exceeded.

7. Smartphone App

The "NRGkick" App can be downloaded from Google Play and the Apple App Store. This provides enhanced options for
controlling the charging unit and monitoring the charging process. Additionally, you can upgrade your charging unit with
further functions such as photovoltaic-led charging via the NRGkick app.
The App is fairly self-explanatory. When establishing a Bluetooth connection between your smartphone and NRGkick take
account of the following:

7.1 How to connect your NRGkick charging unit to the NRGkick App

Connect the charging unit to the power supply
Open the NRGkick App on your Smartphone. The charging unit is displayed in the NRGkick App.
Tap the icon to connect to the charging unit
EN
Example - does not correspond to the access code of your NRGkick
Note: You can change the factory access code at any time later in the settings within the app to prevent unauthorised
persons from gaining access to your NRGkick.
The setup wizard will then start and guide you through the setup process in a few minutes. First, you will be asked to give
your NRGkick an individual name instead of the preset name "User01". If you do not do this, the setup wizard will start
again every time you connect to the charging unit.
Note: You can change the device name later at any time in the settings within the app.
You can then configure WiFi networks detected by NRGkick and connect to the NRGkick Cloud. We recommend configuring
both, as this allows you to use all the functions that NRGkick offers.

7.2 Hints for Use

When a parameter is sent from the smartphone to the charging station, this is usually confirmed with a short chaser light.
If the user has activated a limiting function via the smartphone (e.g. energy limit or stop function), this is indicated by all
LEDs up to and including the LED of the set amperage pulsating slowly.

Note: When you first open the NRGkick app, you will be asked to
enter an access code for security reasons. Initially, this consists of a
part of the serial number, which can be found on the type plate on
the back of the charging unit. You can display an image in the app
that shows you exactly which parts of the serial number are
involved.
