INTRODUCTION
The Pro.Point ARC 170 is an inverter-based welding machine
that incorporates the latest in IGBT technology. The DC MMA
(ARC) welding unit is capable of delivering a smooth and
incredibly stable arc, allowing easy welding with electrodes and
producing high quality welds that includes cast iron and
stainless steel.
The TIG torch accessory (sold separately) allows quality DC TIG
welding on steel, stainless steel, bronze and copper. The DC lift
arc function is superb and delivers perfect arc ignition every
time without any sticking and a remarkably smooth stable arc
that produces high quality TIG welds.
