Hose Change

Please use the included screwing tool to attach and remove the
high pressure hoses. It will help you generate the necessary
tightening torque and will prevent damage to the screw fittings,
which may otherwise result from using an improper tool.
Residual gas: Do not smoke, avoid open flames!
– Close gas cylinder valve.
– Remove the high pressure hose from the gas cylinder (or
from the slip-on adapter) and from the regulator inlet.
When performing a hose change, please ensure that
the gasket provided with the hose (hose outlet, regula-
tor inlet) is correctly installed and not damaged.
We recommend that the gasket (part no. 50020-76300)
be replaced with every hose change.
– Screw country-specific high-pressure hose to MonoControl CS
inlet and to the cylinder (or the slip-on adapter).
– Open gas cylinder valve.
– Press the hose rupture protection and, if necessary, the
reset button (see "Startup").
Check hose connection to cylinder valve and at MonoControl CS
inlet for leaks after every modification (see "Checking for leaks
in the high-pressure area").

Checking for leaks in the high
pressure area
The screw fittings of the high-pressure hoses at the gas cylin-
der valve and at the MonoControl CS should be checked for
leaks using suitable means such as a leak-finder spray accord-
ing to DIN EN 14291.
This is the responsibility of the operator.
Checking for leaks in the low
pressure area
(maximum test pressure 150 mbar)
Test must be conducted by a technician!
– Turn off all consumers.
– Open stop valves and, if present, gas remote switch.
– Remove the threaded cap from the test connection (b)
and connect the test pump with test hose to the test
connection.
– Conduct leak test (in Germany according to G 607,
for example).
