Important: When using a suction device, set a vacuum capacity of max. 60 c m H₂O or a max.
flow velocity of 400 ml per minute. Under certain circumstances the catheter can become stuck. If
this is painful for the patient, close the clamp on the connected tube. In so doing the flow can be
slowed or completely stopped.
Please observe the corresponding instruction manuals when draining with the abovenamed products.
All products named above feature an access tip on the connected tube to allow easy and secure con
nection with the safety valve. A click can be heard and felt when connecting the access tip.
Using the safety clamp, it is possible to secure the connection between the access tip and safety valve.
The connection is inserted so that it lies in the specially designed inner ridges and secured in place.
Accidental disconnection or contamination can be avoided when the safety clamp is closed.
