7. Decommissioning/disassembly

7.1 Cleaning

-
Allow the system to drain completely: with the device switched on, remove the intake hose (with suction strainer)
from the material container.
-
Then place the intake hose (with suction strainer) in a container with suitable flushing/cleaning agent (water),
guide the return hose (upper hose on the pump -without filter-) into a collecting container and thoroughly flush the
device as well as the material hose (n), spray gun (j) and spray lance (l) until clear flushing liquid emerges.
-
For the final flushing cycle, we recommend a soapy solution (e.g., rinsing agent with water).
-
In the case of sticky or aggressive media, it is best to get the flushing liquid ready before starting work.
Please note:
-
Never leave the conveyed medium in the pump as otherwise there is a danger of the valves clogging
together and seals being damaged.
-
The suitable rinsing/cleaning agent must be compatible with the processed material. This information
can be found in the technical data sheet of the material manufacturer.
-
The resulting rinsing/cleaning liquid must be collected and disposed of in accordance with local regulati-
ons.
-
Disconnect spray gun (j) from material hose (n) and open gun lever for complete emptying.
-
Disconnect material hose (n) from the pump and empty residue when rolling up.
-
Clean soiled components (motor/frame) with a damp cloth soaked in detergent.
-
Protect the electric motor against direct moisture.
Caution: Risk of burns
-
The electric motor may be hot during and after use of the device!

7.2 Storage

-
Store the device in a dry frost-free location.
-
Never leave water or other liquids in the device.
