4.2 Function

-
After the material hose (n), spray gun (j), spray lance (l) and nozzle (m) are tightly screwed to the device and to
each other,
-
the suction and return hose (g) is inserted into the container with the material to be processed and fixed at the
edge of the container with the retaining clip (h).
-
Switching on (a) the unit, delivers the material to be conveyed from the container to the spray gun (j).
-
If the trigger is then pulled on the spray gun, the material exits the system through the spray lance (l) and the noz-
zle (m).
-
The working pressure must be increased or reduced using the pressure regulators (d + k) on the device and the
spray gun (j).
-
The pressure regulator (k) on the spray gun (j) is used for fine adjustment.

4.3 Processable materials

Burn-on inhibitors / adhesion promoters, concrete retarders, concrete contact*, biocides, disinfectants, injection mate-
rials, primers, hydrophobing/impregnation, milk of lime*, glazes, cleaning agents, wallpaper solvents, separating
agents, water delivery (e.g., for special plaster processing).
*We recommend a special lance/hose set here. For details, please contact the STORCH hotline (free only in Germany)
on 0800-7867247.
Note: Do not convey low-molecular hydrocarbons (nitro)
-
Processing of liquids containing solvents**, acids**, chlorine** and alkalis is possible to a limited
extent. **We recommend a special lance/hose set here.
It is essential to observe the technical data sheets of the material manufacturers!
-
Paint and metals on the motor, frame, spray gun and hose couplings can be attacked by corresponding
materials.
-
Immediate cleaning/flushing is absolutely essential.
-
Release possible after communicating the designation, product and safety data sheet and testing.
For details, please contact the STORCH hotline (only free in Germany) on 0800-7867247.

5. Commissioning/Assembly

5.1 Before commissioning

Faulty commissioning by unqualified personnel and failure to observe the operating manual!

5.2 Setting up

Position the device securely on firm and level ground next to the conta-
iner with the material to be processed. Make sure that the device is not
in the way and does not pose a tripping hazard together with hoses and
cables.

5.2.1 Preconditions

-
The device may only be commissioned by qualified and author-
ised skilled personnel in compliance with the warning and safety
instructions.
-
Make sure that all operating fluids are replenished.
-
Before starting, make sure that all hose connections and joints are
screwed tight and leak-proof.
-
Check the oil level before every use. To do so, open the oil filler
neck (e). Oil must be up to the outer mark (Fig. 2).
