Move shaft assembly from upper to lower (oppo-
site) position. Secure with bolts. Tighten to 4-6 in.
lbs. (5-8 N·m).
Install brake disc and busing on throttle shaft.
Install the friction adjustment screw clockwise to
attach to the brake shoe. Refer to Control
Handle Friction Adjustment.

Install throttle arm assembly on shaft assembly.
Install washer and circlip.

Align cam groove in dwell plate on roller of throt-
tle lever assembly. Install dwell plate on pin of
throttle arm assembly and install circlip.
