Align handle friction adjustment screw with open-
ing in trim ring and install trim ring.
1. Trim ring
Position lock ring in mounting plate. Orient notch
for neutral lock lever UP as shown.

Route trim/tilt switch wiring. Make two (2) loops
of trim wire around lever as shown
Position remote control lever on splines of re-
mote control. Install retaining washer and screws
10 of 20
and washers to secure lever to output shaft of re-
mote control.

Insert neutral release button into center of shaft
and install cover.

Electrical Connections
Connect neutral safety switch wiring.

IMPORTANT: Apply a light coat of Electrical
Grease™ onto the electrical connector seals.
Push connectors together until latched.
