Remove circlip from shaft assembly. Remove
washer and throttle arm assembly. Remove the
brake disc and bushing from throttle shaft.
Turn throttle lever friction adjusting screw coun-
terclockwise and remove from brake shoe. Re-
move brake shoe from shaft assembly.
Loosen the two bolts and remove shaft assem-
bly.

Loosen bolt and remove shift arm assembly.
Install shift arm assembly in inverted (opposite)

position. Secure with bolt. Tighten to 4-6 in. lbs.
(5-8 N·m).
