Functions on your door intercom station
(= outside)
Make a call via a call button
▸
Press any one of the call buttons (or press
button of the keypad)
▸ The number saved for this button will be
dialled.
▸
Once the call is answered, a voice connection
will be established (standard setting= full
duplex mode); connection will automatically
be terminated (when the signal 'line busy' is
detected) or when the call button is pressed
again.
Make a call via the keypad with call button
▸
Press – you will hear the dialling tone.
▸ Dial the number using the keypad, e.g. exten-
sion number 127
▸
Once the call is answered, a voice connection
will be established (standard setting= full
duplex mode); connection will automatically
be terminated (when the signal 'line busy' is
detected).
Make a call via the keypad with speed dialling
▸
Press – you will hear the dialling tone.
▸
Enter the 2-digit direct speed dialling code
(00 to 99) on the keypad, e.g. 31
▸ Once the call is answered, a voice connection
will be established (standard setting= full
duplex mode); connection will automatically
be terminated (when the signal 'line busy' is
detected).

Open the door via the keypad with a code lock key
▸ Press – you will hear the dialling tone.
▸
Enter the code cypher (default= 0)
▸
Press – the open door function will be
activated (using the relay contact in your door
intercom device).
Functions from the telephone (=inside):
Answer a call – voice connection upon a call from
your door
▸
Depending on the telephone system and the
actual telephone used, the phone display may
indicate the extension of the door intercom or
a text information, e.g. "door intercom"
(features depend on the telephone system).
▸
Answer a call from your door just like you
would answer any other call.
▸
Terminate a voice connection simply by hang-
ing up.
Open the front door from the inside
▸
Enter the code cypher (default= 0)
▸
Press – the open door function will be
activated.
System phones made by Siemens, Alcatel,
Tenovis or other manufacturers need to be set
to support "DTMF-dialling" = tone-dialling
(required for the open door function and others)!
