The CLE chlorine sensor is a membrane covered, amperometric, two-
electrode sensor. The chlorine sensor is used to determine the concentration
of free chlorine in water not containing surfactants. The water can also be
seawater. Typical applications include the treatment of swimming pool water,
drinking water disinfection or the treatment of water of a similar quality. The
sensor is available with a 2-wire interface (mA), 5 pin interface (DMT) or 4 pin
interface (4P).

Correct use

The sensor may be used to determine and control only concentrations of
free chlorine.
The sensor may not be used in water or solutions containing surfactants.
The sensor may not be used in connection with organic chlorine preparations
(e.g. trichloroisocyanuric acid) or stabilisers (e.g. cyanuric acid).
All other uses and modifications are prohibited.
The sensor is not a safety component.
CAUTION
• In order to guarantee flow parameters, this sensor may be installed
