of cutting length up with approximate 10N force.
If the chain link goes out of the rail of guide bar
entire, you need to retighten the chain.
IMPORTANT It is very important to maintain the prop-
er chain tension. Rapid wear of the guide bar or the
chain coming off easily can be caused by improper
tension. Especially when using a new chain, take good
care of it since it should expand when first used.
2. PREPARING TO WORK
2.1 CHECKING THE MACHINE
Before starting work please:
Check that all the screws on the machine are
f
tightly fastened.
Check that the air filter is clean.
f
Check that vibration absorbers are fine.
f
Prepare accessories and make sure they are cor-
f
rectly mounted.
Fill with fuel as indicated below.

2.2 FUELING AND LUBRICATION
The chainsaw is equipped with 2-stroke engine. there-
fore, oil mixture of petrol 95 RON and 2-stroke oil,
must always being used. It is very important to pay
attention with the fuel mixture that you use, since
accurate mixture of oil and fuel must be obtained.
Small quantities of oil and fuel mixture with small in-
accuracies, can affect the ratio of mixture, which may
lead to engine overheat and serious damages in the
engine. Mixture with fuel of higher Octane is only rec-
ommended to be used, when working continuously at
high revs.
Two stroke oil
Especially formulated 2-stroke oil for air cooled
2-stroke engines must be used. Do not use 2-stroke
oil intended for water cooled engines use. Never use
poor quality of oil and 4-stroke engine oil.
Mixing ratio
For best results and performance, the mixing ratio is
with oil class JASO FB or ISO EGB, formulated for air
cooled 2-stroke engines.

2.3 REFUELING
WARNING: Never smoke whilst refueling and avoid
inhaling the petrol fumes.
Carefully open the tank top as pressure could have
formed inside.
Before fueling:
Place the machine on a flat stable surface, with
f
the fuel tank cap facing upwards.
Clean the fuel tank cap and the surrounding area
f
to avoid any dirt from entering the tank during
refueling.
Carefully open the fuel tank cap to allow the
f
pressure inside to decrease gradually.
To fuel:
Shake the tank with the fuel mixture well.
Using a funnel, pour an amount of fuel mixture
f
suited to the work to be performed in the sup-
plied graduated bottle.
Do not overfill. Leave a minimum 5 mm of space
f
between the top of the fuel-oil mixture and the
inside edge of the tank to allow for expansion.
WARNING Always close the fuel tank cap firmly.
3. USING THE MACHINE
3.1 STARTING THE MACHINE
1. Remove the fuel cap and oil cap.
2. Fill the fuel tank and oil tank to 80% of the full ca-
pacity.
3. Fasten the fuel cap and oil tank securely and wipe
up any fuel spillage around the unit.
4. Put the ON/OFF switch to the "I" position.
5. Turn the choke knob (Fig. 8.1). The choke will close
and the throttle lever will then be set in the start-
ing position.
6. Continuously push the primer bulb (Fig. 9.1) until
fuel comes in the bulb.
NOTE When restarting immediately after stopping
the engine. Set choke in the open position. Once the
choke knob has been turned counter clockwise, it will
not return to the running position even if you press
the throttle trigger. When you wish to return the
choke knob to the operating position, press the throt-
tle trigger instead.
7. Push in the decompression valve button (If
equipped). When firing occurs, the decompression
valve will return to the close position automatical-
ly.
8. Push the front handle guard down toward the
front to activate the chain brake.
9. While holding the saw unit securely on the ground,
pull the starter rope vigorously (Fig. 10).
10. When firing occur, push in the throttle trigger to
allow the choke return to the running position and
pull the starter handle again to start the engine.
11. Pull up the front handle guard toward the front
handle to release brake. Then, allow the engine to
warm up with the trigger pulled slightly.
