When the fence is beyond the table-top, ensure
that the material support is secured in the lowest
position in both the front and the back slots. When

USING THE RIP FENCE POINTER

The rip fence pointer shows the distance from the
blade to rip fence.
Right position 1.
The top scale indicates the position of the fence
relative to the right side of the blade for the inner
position. In this position, the fence can be used
from 0 to 24.5 inches (Fig.48).
