9.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen und Anweisungen in diesem
Dokument verwendet wird. Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieses Dokuments, insbe­
sondere durch unsachgemäße Verwendung oder unerlaubte Veränderung des Produkts verur­
sacht werden, haftet der Hersteller nicht.
9.2 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie 93/42/EWG für Medizinpro­
dukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriterien nach Anhang IX dieser Richtlinie wurde das Produkt
in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb vom Hersteller in alleiniger
Verantwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

1.1 Construction and Function
The 1E95 Challenger is a prosthetic fitness foot for activities with quick changes of direction and
speed (e.g. tennis, basketball and jogging). The contour of the spring is based on a sprinting
foot. It also has a base spring with heel wedge.
The prosthetic foot is worn directly in the shoe without a footshell.
1.2 Combination possibilities
INFORMATION
The prosthetic socket must be able to withstand the higher loading when practising fitness activ­
ities.
This prosthetic component is compatible with Ottobock's system of modular connectors. Func­
tionality with components of other manufacturers that have compatible modular connectors has
not been tested.
Restrictions of the combination possibilities
• Only use prosthetic components approved for the respective activity or a body weight of
150 kg/330 lbs.
Compatible Ottobock prosthetic knee joints: Due to its specific kinematics, the prosthetic

foot is only compatible with Genium and Genium X3.
