This is due to the increase of the temperature of the electric motor which will be 50/60°C, normal
temperature for each motor in running use. Temperature of the body (11) is not the same as this of the
milling.
Milling temperature will be about 30/40°C, this, according to temperature of the room, adjustment of
grain output and its drying.
F. ADJUSTMENT FOR DIFFERENT FINENESS OF FLOUR
The mill is delivered adjusted for the fine grind. After a certain time of use, this position should vary due
to the re-grinding of the millstones each upon the other. Complete re-grinding of the millstones is made
during the first millings (after 15 to 20 kg of milled product).
It is only after this time of grinding you will obtain the maximum of fineness. To adjust the fineness of
flour, you will have to increase or reduce the gap between the two millstones:
• Switch on. Motor starts running.
• Turn button (14) clockwise in order to completely close the inlet aperture.
• Maintain with your left hand the upper millstone (12).
• Firmly maintain the upper millstone in order to prevent it turning and then unscrew the locking
screw for fixing position of upper millstone (4) two turns anti-clockwise.
o Fine grinding:
§ Slowly turn clockwise the upper millstone (12).
§ A noise is heard when the two stones are actually touching. As soon as you heard this
noise, DON'T TURN MORE.
§ Tighten locking nut (4) blocking upper millstone (12), in the required position for grind.
IMPORTANT: good tighten locking nut (4)
o For extra fine flour (with the mill running) :
§ Adjust the upper millstone as above-mentioned in fine grinding. Turn the inlet feed
button and have the inlet aperture no more than one half open.
§ Firmly maintain the upper millstone (12).
§ Unscrew the locking screw for fixing position of upper millstone (4), two turns anti-
clockwise.
§ Slowly turn clockwise, upper millstone (12) during milling and set the two millstones so
that they are just touching. During this operation, always firmly maintain the upper
millstone.
§ As soon as you'll hear the noise, block upper millstone in the required position for
grind and tighten locking nut (4).
ATTENTION: As soon as all grains have passed through the mill, you must turn the motor off
in order to prevent unnecessary wear of the stones, by touching strongly each other.
o Coarse grinding
The further apart the stones, the coarser the flour obtained.
§ Maintain upper millstone (12) with your left hand.
§ Unscrew two turns anticlockwise the locking nut (4).
§ Slowly turn anti-clockwise upper millstone (12). The further apart the stones, the
coarser the flour obtained.
§ Tighten locking nut (4) to block upper millstone at the required position.
§ Always ensure that the lid on the hopper is in place (7) to avoid the escape of air, other
than through the passage intended.
ALWAYS ENSURE THAT LID ON THE HOPPER IS IN PLACE TO AVOID THROUGH INLET APERTURE.
DOING SO, THIS SHOULD PREVENT THE GRAIN AGITATOR TO BE FEED IN GRAINS.
