ANNEX 1 : SNA60 FUNCTIONING DESCRIPTION
A ) SYNOPTIC

B ) INITIALIZATION AFTER POWER CUT SECTOR :
System initialization proceeds in 3 stages.
A control stage enables to know system state before a power failure sector. SNA60 comes back in previous state cut. The
occurrenec is stored in memory.
 The second stage initializes and reconfigures the computer.
 The last stage is to test measurement chain to be in accordance with that defined by the fitter. If not the case, an error type 4 is
generated and treated.
Notes : If the characterization of measurement chain has not been carried out, this test is not
C ) DETECTION
AND ERRORS MANAGEMENT
After initialization, the system is in its main operating mode in which it is testing systematicly various error sources. Errors detected
are as follows:
1 - Regulation threshold exceed (10 seconds off).
Détection : If the calculated Leq level is exceeded this threshold.
Action :
2 - Regulation threshold exceed and more than 3 exceeds in less one hour. (general cut-off).
Détection : If the calculated Leq level exceeds this threshold for the third time in less one hour.
Action :
3 - Sensor link default.
Détection : If it exists a sensor link default
Action :
Note: As an error type 3 (see above), if the unit goes into locked mode, the alarm is activated permanently until release.
4 - Failure level sensor. (The occurrence is stored).

The alarm is activated10 seconds in according to the mode defined by the fitter.
the system goes into locked mode, the alarm is set up permanently until it starts again (can be
performed by an authorized person). The occurrence is saved. The message "General failure
activated" is displayed indicating a general power cut.
To unlock the device, follow the procedure "re operation" (page 22)
- cut wire.
- hot point short circuit (ground).
- cold point short circuit (ground).
The system is blocked and the occurrence is saved or only one is saved depending on the mode
defined by fitter.
In the case of functioning with lock, follow the procedure for "re-operation" of the device (page 25).
