Training measurement chain:
It allows to standardize
off system.
The level picked up by the sensor is indicated as a information on LCD display.
For this procedure, CAP60 must be set up with his wired hood. The level must be around 100 dB.
Public level and sensor level setting
It must use a sound system to carry out this setting.
These independent settings , allow , according to the following procedure, to compute the difference in acoustic pressure, if for
some reasons, the sensor is not installed where the audience is the more exposed (or at the location from the impact study)
How to find out the public and sensor levels:
1 - Close the hood
2 -
Using a pink noise generator, set the broadcasting equipment to have a sensor level between
values). You can use display of SNA 60 (Short level : "C").
3 -
Note the value. This is the sensor level.
4 -
At the place where the audience is the more exposed (or the one from impact report), using a class 2 or 1 sono meter, with
short Leq A weighted, note the acoustic pressure level. This is the public level.
5 - Open the upper hood.
6 - Enter the code.
7 -
Using the following procedure set the sensor and public levels.

Idem for parameter 7.
Once both two parameters entered, the sytem computes the offset and reconfigures automatically the equipment.
