OPERATING LEVEL

This level is for process control.
Process value X and set-point W are
displayed in manual and automatic modes.
Output Y is displayed by means of key M.
Manual and automatic modes are switched
with key H. The set-point in manual mode
or set-point and output in automatic mode
can be changed by means of keys ID.
The change is effective after 2 s or by
pressing M shortly. With ramp function or
programmer, the symbol W2 is lit and SP2
is effective; the functions of H and M
remain the same. If SP2 is reached with
ramp function, it can be changed in the
operating level by means of keys ID.
Sensor errors
Defects or wrong polarity of sensors are indicated by the following error messages:
Thermocouples / Pt 100:
Sensor break
4...20 mA: Input current < 2 mA
Switching off and on again the outputs
Switching off: Switch off set-point W by means of key D (display '----'). When
doing so whilst pressing the key continuously, the previous set-point remains valid for
switch-on. When pressing the key at intervals > 2 s, the set-point of the last interval is
valid for switch-on. Switching off causes:
w the heating, cooling and continuous outputs are switched off, the alarm relays are
switched off and the 2nd set-point function is ineffective.
Switching on: Press key I. The set-point jumps to the last set-point valid before
switching off, and control starts after approx. 2 s. Set-point adjustment is only possible
after pressing the key again.

or temperature < -30 °C
Pt 100: Short circuit or
temperature < -130 °C
2nd input, 4...20 mA:
Input current < 2 mA
