We recommend having maintenance performed prior
to verification of the scales.
Ensure that verification is carried out by authorised per-
sons in accordance with the national legal require-
ments.
Verification is required in all cases if one or more cali-
bration seals have been damaged or the content of the
calibration counter does not match the number on the
valid calibration counter sticker.
These seca scales have been verified. Calibration may
only be performed by authorised bodies. To ensure
this, the scales are equipped with a calibration counter
which registers every change in data relevant to
calibration.
If you wish to check that the scales are properly veri-
fied, proceed as follows:
1. Switch the scales off if necessary.
2. Hold down any key and start up the scales.
The current content of the calibration counter will
flash in the display for a few seconds.
