DO NOT use the tool in an excessive
vertical application. Excessive vertical
use can lead to water and debris entry
to the motor through air intake (O)
as shown in Fig. 11.
1. Attach polishing tool.
2. Connect machine to the power
supply.
3. Connect the water.
4. Switch on the machine.
5. Open shut-off valve on the water
connection.

6. Firmly grip the bail handle and motor
housing as shown in Fig. 12.
7. Lower the tool until the polishing disc
contacts the work. Use light
pressure.
8. Always lift the polisher off the work
before starting or stopping motor.

The arrow on the front gear housing
indicates the direction in which the
polishing wheel rotates.
Use only accessories that are recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
Accessories that may be suitable for one
tool may become hazardous when used
on another tool.

MAINTENANCE

DANGER
Before performing any work on the
electric power tool, pull out the mains
plug.
NOTE
Use only original parts supplied by the
manu-facturer for replacement
purposes.
If non-original parts are used, the
guarantee obligations of the
manufacturer will be deemed null and
void.
KEEP TOOL CLEAN
Periodically blow out all air passages
with dry, compressed air. All plastic parts
should be cleaned with soft damp cloth.
NEVER use solvents to clean plastic
parts. They could possibly dissolve or
otherwise damage the material.
CAUTION
Wear safety glasses while using
compressed air.
FAILURE TO START
Should your tool fail to start, test the
GFCI, and check to make sure the
prongs on the cord plug are making good
contact in the outlet. Also, check for
