Electric oven:
Malfunction
The (large) oven does not
work.
Neither oven works.
Gas Oven:
Malfunction
The spark ignition is not
working.
The burner is difficult or
impossible to light.
The burner switches off when
the door is closed.
The oven switches off after
about 10 minutes.
The grill does not work.
Gas Burner:
Malfunction
When I push on 1 knob, all of
the spark plugs ignite.

Possible Cause
The clock has not been set to
manual.
One or more screws in the
connector block have not been
sufficiently tightened.
Possible Cause
The door has not been opened
completely.
The spark ignitor is dirty or dusty.
Because of air movement, the
flames near the thermocouple
have been temporarily extinguis-
hed.
The lowest position has not been
set properly.
The gas burner knob has not been
switched to off.
Possible Cause
This is normal.
The spark ignitor is dusty or dirty.
The flame distributor ring has not
been placed in the base properly.
The base is not level.
Solution
Set the clock to manual; see
chapters about operating
digital/analog clocks.
Open the connection block and
tighten all screws.
Solution
Open the door completely.
Clean the spark plug with a
cloth.
Leave the door open for at
least a minute so that the
thermocouple has been suf-
ficiently heated.
Contact technical service.
Turn the gas burner knob to
the off position.
Solution
Not applicable.
Clean the spark plug with a
cloth.
Position the flame distributor
in such a way that it can no
longer turn and is attached to
the base.
Replace the base and make
sure it is level.
