Function
• The standard design measure-
ment car is a working digital model
equipped with a special decoder,
measurement capabilities and an
electronic display circuit. Proto-
typical and scale measurements
can be carried out and displayed
in the windows of the car on any
digital layout (6021 Central-Unit,
6036 locomotive controller) with
the f1, f2, f3, and f4 function
buttons:
– model (m) or prototype (km)
route measurements.
– model (m/s) or prototype (km/h)
speed measurements.
– stop watch for short time
measurements (s) or long time
measurements (min).
– running time measurements for
individual runs (min) or the entire
number of hours the car is in
operation (h).
• During conventional operation
with a train control transformer
or in the Delta system, the actual
prototype speed (km/h) is con-
stantly displayed.
• The measurements are indepen-
dent of the direction of travel.
• The hours in operation counter (h)
records all operating times for the
car, even when other measures
are being carried out. The ope-
rating time value that has been
reached cannot be reset; a certain
test time will already be stored in
the units memory when it is deli-
vered from the factory.
• The only time you should open the
car is to change the digital
address. Be careful when doing
this to avoid damage to the elec-
tronic components in the car.
