1. General information
1.1 Document information

for appliance users and qualified con-
tractors.

for heating contractors.

2. Safety
2.1 Intended use
this appliance is intended to heat
small rooms, e.g. toilets.
any other use beyond that described
shall be deemed inappropriate. ob-
servation of these instructions is also
part of the correct use of this appli-
ance. any modifications or conver-
sions to the appliance void all war-
ranty rights.
this appliance is designed for domes-
tic use. it can be safely operated by
untrained personnel. the appliance
can also be used in a non-domestic
environment, e.g. in a small business,
as long as it is used in the same way.
2.2 General safety instruc-
tions
observe the following safety instruc-
tions and regulations.
operate the appliance only when
fully installed and with all safety
equipment fitted.

Never operate this appli-
ance
- in rooms at risk from fire or ex-
plosion as a result of chemicals,
dust, gases or vapours
- in the direct proximity of pipe-
work or receptacles that carry or
contain flammable or explosive
materials.
- if work such as laying tiles, pol-
ishing or sealing is carried out in
the installation room.
if naphtha, sprays, floor polish or
similar products are handled.
D ANGER Electrocution
Only permit qualified con-
tractors to open the ap-
pliance when isolated from the
mains

Never operate the
appliance if its power
cable has been damaged.
Damaged power cables must
only be replaced by qualified
contractors

The surfaces of the ap-
pliance casing and the
expelled air become hot during
operation (above 80 °C).

Never place any flamma-
ble, combustible or insu-
lating objects or materials, such
as laundry, blankets, magazines,
containers with floor polish or
naphtha, spray cans or similar on
the appliance or in direct proxim-
ity to it.

Where children or persons
with limited physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities are
allowed to control this appliance,
ensure that this will only happen
under supervision or after appro-
priate instruction by a person re-
sponsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with

as you risk causing over-
heating.
2.3 Safety clearances
Between the appliance and all adja-
cent objects, for example furniture,
net curtains, curtains, textiles and all
other flammable and non-flammable
materials, you must observe the fol-

this appliance is an convector heater.
the heated air is transferred evenly
and free of draughts through the ap-
ertures in the top of the appliance to
the ambient air.
the appliance is equipped with a
temperature controller. this ensures
that the selected room temperature
can be maintained constantly.

maintained.
4.4 Frost protection

4.5 Switching the appliance
off
f disconnect the appliance from

5. Cleaning, care and
maintenance
if a pale brownish discolouration ap-
pears on the appliance casing, wipe
this off as soon as possible with a
damp cloth. clean the appliance
when cold with ordinary cleaning
products. avoid abrasive or corrosive
cleaning products.

as with all heaters, the ris-
ing hot air can result in dis-
colouration of the wall.
6. Troubleshooting
