3. Ceiling Fan Assembly

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the Fan Motor/
Housing Assembly when installing the Ceiling Fan
Blade Assemblies.
Rotate the Motor Hub to align the Switch Plate Hole
with the Motor Hub Threaded Hole for installation of
the Ceiling Fan Blade Assemblies, as follows:
Attach Securely the Ceiling Fan Blade Assembly to the
Motor Hub by tightening the Two Preassembled Blade
Flange Screws to the Motor Hub (Figure 3).
Each Blade Flange has an Interlocking Edge. Rotate Motor
Hub Clockwise and Attach each Ceiling Fan Blade
Assembly to Interlock each Blade Flange (Figure 3).
A spare 1/4-20 x 14 mm Pan Head Screw with
Lockwasher is in the hardware bag, if needed.

Light Kit Fitter Assembly to be installed to Ceiling Fan
once the Fan is completely hung on hanger bracket,
during Final Assembly, Sections 6.3 - 6.15,
pages 16 - 21.
Remove the Hanger Ball by loosening the Phillips Head
Set Screw in the Hanger Ball until the Ball falls freely down
the Downrod (Figure 4).
Remove the Pin from the Downrod, then remove the
Hanger Ball (Figure 4).
Retain the Pin and Hanger Ball for reinstallation in
Step 3.11.
