SEAT
The seat can be adjusted for operators weight and leg
reach to provide a comfortable position for operating
the machine.
1. ADJUSTMENT FOR OPERATOR WEIGHT
The seat is adjustable for operator weights between
50Kgs (110lbs) and 130Kgs (285lbs).
To Adjust:
The position of the adjusting lever and weight gauge
is on the front of the seat, in the centre below the
bellows (A Fig.44). By rotating the lever clockwise the
weight capacity is increased and by rotating the lever
anticlockwise the weight capacity is decreased.
2. HEIGHT OF SEAT CUSHION ADJUSTMENT
The seat has three height positions.
To Adjust:
While sitting on the seat grip both sides of the seat
cushion, by raising your weight off the cushion and
pulling the cushion upwards at the same time the
cushion will locate in the next highest position. By
carrying out the same procedure on the highest
position the seat cushion will return to its lowest
position.
3. FORE AND AFT ADJUSTMENT
To Adjust:
The position of the adjusting lever is on the right hand
side of the seat below the seat cushion(B Fig.44). By
pulling the lever away from the seat, the seat can be
slid backwards and forwards, when in the desired
position release the lever to locate in one of the pre
set positions.
4. BACK REST ADJUSTMENT
To Adjust:
The position of the release lever is on the left hand
side of the seat (A Fig.45). While sitting on the seat
pull the release lever upwards to release the back
rest.(The back rest is spring loaded to fold onto the
seat cushion). Lean back to obtain the desired
position for the back rest and release the lever to
locate in one of the pre set positions.
NOTE:The seat is fitted with a microswitch to sense
operator presence.
