Settings menu

You can go to the settings menu by touching the More button or by using the Settings voice
command. The following settings can be entered accordingly using the touchscreen or voice commands.
The ✓ symbol indicates the functions that are active or switched on.
ATTENTION!
All of the hands-free device settings must only be made when the vehicle is stationary.

9.1 Bluetooth

Telephone list:
The saved mobile telephones as well as the devices that have already been linked to the hands-free
®
device via a Bluetooth connection are displayed in the telephone list.
When you select a mobile telephone from the list in the next step you can Separate the
®
Bluetooth connection, Delete it from the list or select as Standard. If a mobile telephone is assigned as
the standard then the hands-free device will always search for this mobile telephone first after it has been
turned on.
Under the Telephone no. options you can select whether your own telephone number should be
displayed to the person called or not.
Under Telephone 2 a second telephone can be determined for the multi-point connection
 4.2 Coupling or connecting a second mobile telephone (Multi-point).
Delete list:
Deletes all of the saved mobile telephones. Mobile telephones will have to be relinked to the hands-free
device via Bluetooth after you have deleted the list.
Pin Code:
®
Enables the use of your own password (Pin Code) for the Bluetooth connection. The current valid
password is displayed in brackets, e. g. Standard (0000).
Automatic connection:
Auto connection is activated as a default  4.1 Connecting a mobile telephone automatically.
Multi-point:
If Multi-point is activated, an further device may be connected to the hands-free system in addition to the
connected mobile telephone  4.2 Coupling and connecting a second mobile telephone (Multi-point).
9.2 Voice control
Magic word:
If the function is activated, the voice control system can also be started from the main menu using the
voice command Activate voice control  7 Voice control.
The active magic word is displayed by the additional symbol in the button Fig. 1 .
A
Long dialog:
If the function is activated, the most needed commands and confirmations will be read out. The long
dialog is recommended for inexperienced users.
Short dialog:
If the function is activated, then only the most needed commands and confirmations will be read out.
The short dialog on is only recommended for experienced users.
