in order to call up a menu, then these instructions are > separated by, e. g. More > Settings > Volume > Ringing tone.
Voice instructions for controlling the hands-free system are underlined.

Start-up
The start-up prerequisite is that the hands-free system must have been installed in accordance with the
accompanying installation instructions.
When you first switch on after completing the installation you will have to select the language that you
want to see displayed on the screen and for the hands-free system's voice control. The selected language
settings can be modified via the Settings menu later on More > Settings > Unit > Language.
ATTENTION!
Never leave a mobile phone on a seat, on the dashboard or in any location from which it

could be flung away as the result of sudden braking, an accident or a collision. This could
result in one of the vehicle occupants being injured.
Your attention should always be mainly focussed on the surrounding traffic! Only use the
●
hands-free unit when traffic conditions permit.
Telephone calls cannot be made in areas without or having extremely poor mobile telephone
●
network coverage and under conditions as those found in tunnels, garages and underpasses.
Set the volume so that external acoustic signals, e. g. police and fire service klaxons, are
●
clearly audible at all times.

Touchscreen
The unit's screen is a so-called touchscreen and is therefore a contact sensitive screen. The display and
contents change depending on the menu and the selected language (see
