on the bottom of the air distribution ring must be aligned accordingly
[10-1].
■ Press the air distribution ring in evenly.
■ Carry out the steps to install the new nozzle set (see chapter 10.1).
10.3. Replacing the paint needle seal retainers
If the two paint needle seal retainers are damaged, material can leak
from the gun body inspection hole [1-11].
→ Replace the paint needle seal retainer immediately.
Dismantle the paint needle seal retainer
■ Unscrew the regulating cap (of variant with material flow control).
■ Unscrew the end cap [11-1].
■ Remove the spring [11-2].
■ Remove paint needle [11-3].
■ Unscrew four cheese-head screws [11-7] using an Allen key.
■ Remove four spring lock washers [11-6] from the cheese-head screws.
■ Take the nozzle head [11-5] from the gun body [11-4].
Material side [12]
■ Screw the seal retainer [12-2] out of the nozzle head [12-1] using a
socket spanner [12-3].
Air side [13]
■ Screw the seal retainer [13-2] out of the gun body [13-1] using a screw-
driver [13-3].
■ Check seal retainer for damage and soiling, clean or replace if neces-
sary.
Mount new paint needle seal retainer
Material side [12]
■ Screw the seal retainer [12-2] into the nozzle head [12-1] using a sock-
et spanner [12-3].
Air side [13]
■ Screw the seal retainer [13-2] into the gun body [13-1] using a screw-
driver [13-3]. Secure with Loctite 242.
