Always place the sharpener on a flat and stable surface, firmly grip the handle
and make sure there is no possibility to cut yourself while sharpening. Don't
use this sharpener for serrated blades or scissors.
Instructions:
This sharpener has three slots each engraved with a name: COARSE, FINE &
CERAMIC.
COARSE: for blunt stainless steel knifes.
Use this only if your knife is very blunt. Run the knife from its heel to its point
(never the other way around) through the slot engraved with 'COARSE' while ap-
plying slight pressure. Repeat this three times and continue with 'FINE' sharpen-
ing to remove any burrs that result from the re-edging and rough honing process.
This method brings back the edge to your knife and should only be done once
every six months or if the knife is really blunt.
FINE: for edge honing stainless steel knifes.
Run the knife from its heel to its point (never the other way around) through the
slot engraved with 'FINE' without pressure. Repeat this five times, rinse the knife
with running water and dry thoroughly.
EN
This method can be used on it's own to maintain a sharp blade. It's recommended
to do this approximately once a week. The rods may discolour after use, this
is normal.
CERAMIC: for ceramic knifes only.
Lightly pull the knife from its heel to its point (never the other way around)
through the slot engraved with 'CERAMIC' without pressure. Repeat this three to
five times, rinse the knife with running water and dry thoroughly.
After use:
Do not put the sharpener in the dishwasher or submerge in in water. Store be-
yond the reach of children to avoid any accidents.
