LUBRICATING THE TREADMILL

Delivery includes 30 ml of silicone oil, which will last for approx. 600 hours of
operation. Store the silicone oil in a dark place. Make sure that the silicone oil is not
swallowed, especially by children.
Observe the following instructions on lubrication at all costs! If the treadmill belt is not
sufficiently lubricated, friction may generate heat on the treadmill which can lead to skin
If you use the treadmill at normal walking speed most of the time, you will need
to lubricate it infrequently. The following guide provides with an overview of the
average intervals in which the belt should be lubricated.
Apply a lubricant after 25 operating hours.
Reapply a lubricant after each additional 50 operating hours (4 to 7 months).
Note: If the included silicone grease is used up, you can use e.g. a silicone spray
as a lubricant or another suitable lubricant from a specialty shop.
The correct amount of lubricant varies from case to case, and thus cannot be listed
here. You will need to apply lubricant at your own discretion on a case-by-case
basis.
CHECKING THE TREADMILL FOR PROPER LUBRICATION
Lift one side of the treadmill belt and feel the surface of the running board.
If the surface feels moist (slippery), you do not need to lubricate.
