z Do not remove gaskets.
z To prevent corrosion and odor, always keep the inner pan and the lid clean.
z Do not use chemicals such as thinner, cleanser, or bleach, or a chemical-soaked dustcloth. Also, do not
use hard materials such as metal spatulas or nylon brushes.
z Start cleaning only after you have removed parts.
z Do not soak the pressure control cap, measuring cup, or rice paddle in hot water.
z Do not use a dishwasher/dryer.
z Clean the pressure control cap every time you cook rice mixed with multigrain, such as amaranth. Failure
to do so may cause the steam vent of the pressure control cap to become clogged. This may result in
malfunctions such as stuck lid, or poor performance.

Guidance
When you carry out these steps after cooking, especially
if the odor bothers you, we recommend that you put
about 0.71 oz / 20 g of citric acid in the water. This can
help odor to be removed easily.
* Some odors cannot be removed completely.
In such a case, contact the dealer where you
purchased the rice cooker.
