2.3. COMMISSIONING

This guide only describes commissioning using a Somfy io local control.
For commissioning using any other io control point, refer to the corresponding guide.
Power must only be supplied to one heating lamp at a time.

2.3.1. Identifying setting steps already completed

1) Switch on the power supply.
2) Press the Up button on the local io control point and follow
procedure 2.3.1.1. or 2.3.1.2. depending on the reaction of the
heating lamp.
2.3.1.1. The heating lamp does not switch on
The io control point is not programmed.
Go to section 2.3.2.
2.3.1.2. The heating lamp switches on
The io control point is programmed.
Go to section 2.4.

2.3.2. Programming the first Somfy io local control point

1) Press the Up and Down buttons on the io local control point
simultaneously until the heating lamp turns on then turns off.
2) Briefly press the PROG button on this io control point.
The heating lamp turns on then turns off.
The io control point is programmed.
2.4. ACTIVATION/DEACTIVATION OF AUTOMATIC
SHUT-DOWN

Prerequisite: Commissioning has been completed using an io local control point.
This function allows the heating lamp to be switched off automatically after operating for 3, 6 or 12
hours.
It is possible to set this duration (see 2.5.).
The same procedure is used to activate or deactivate the automatic shut-down:
• Press the my and Down buttons simultaneously until the
heating lamp turns on then turns off.
- If the lamp comes on then goes out once: the function is
activated.
- If the lamp comes on then goes out twice: the function is
deactivated.
