5.1

Installing the Power Supply Unit

Procedure:
• Connect the power supply line (120 V
• Connect the power supply line (24 V
• Mount the power supply unit on the DIN rail.
Connecting the Power Supply Line to the Power Supply Unit
Additionally required material (not included in the scope of delivery):
☐ One circuit breaker or one overcurrent protective device is rated for input power of the power
supply unit
☐ One cable for connection of the power source to the power supply unit
Cable requirements:
☐ Conductor cross section: 0.8 mm² to 2.5 mm² (18 AWG to 12 AWG)
☐ Conductor material: Copper
☐ The conductors must be made of stranded wire or fine stranded wire. When using fine
stranded wire, bootlace ferrules must be used.
