GRIPP Tips

The conical GRIPP tips (1) penetrate the workpiece and create positive locking. The penetration
depth depends on:
a) the clamping force;
b) the material strength.
With GRIPP clamping up to approx. 1000 N/mm²:
– Unalloyed steel
– Grey cast iron
– Aluminium
– Plastics
the spindle stroke is limited by an end stop (3.5 revolutions or 30 Nm).
