Steering Check if the linkage between the handlebar
and the fork is play free and that the linkage
turns directly and smooth.
Check the cylinder head bolt and 2 round head
bolts of the steering linkage for play in both
horizontal and vertical direction. Tighten bolts
if needed.
Check for play on ball joints or its threaded
connection.
Check ball joints for function and wear, replace
if needed.
Check damper plate function, tighten if
needed.
Frame Clean and polish the paintwork.
Check connecting bolts between front and rear
frame by hand.
Check frame for irregularities.
