5. Using Tin Snips, carefully cut along
marked on the template. See Figure 23-3 and Figure 23-4.
6. Carefull remove template and tape from the Bumper
NOTE: Take care to cut safely, neatly and along dotted
lines marked on the template.
Step 24
Fit Bumper Trim (Item 10) to Bumper cut-out and work into
position. Then lift the inside edge of the Bumper Trim and apply
Glue (Item 10) evenly around the length of the Bumper Trim.
See Figure 24.
Important: Do not use an excessive amount of glue –
Prevent glue from travelling to the show area of the
Bumper Cover.
Important: Use masking tape to secure the Bumper Trim
in place until the glue has set. Then remove masking tape
and cut off excess Bumper Trim.
If installing Trailer Wire Harness, refer to Trailer Wire
Harness instructions for wire route prior to Rear Bumper
install.
