7. Before using the device for the fi rst time
Remove the device from the packaging.
Ensure that all packaging materials have been removed.
7.1. Mains operation – connecting the power cord
Connect the supplied power cord to the power socket of the device.
Plug the power cord plug into an easily accessible power outlet.
7.2. Internal rechargeable battery
When the party sound system is plugged into a power outlet, the internal built-in
rechargeable battery begins charging automatically. The CHARGE LED lights up red
during charging.
When charging is complete and the internal built-in battery is fully charged, the
CHARGE LED lights up green.
If the battery charge level is too low, the CHARGE LED starts flashing red.
7.3. Setting up the device
Place the device on a sturdy, level surface. Some aggressive varnishes can
corrode the rubber feet on the device. If necessary, place the device on a
suitable underlay.
7.4. Radio antenna
Connect the supplied wire antenna to the antenna connection on the back of
the device.
Unwind the antenna completely and position it to get the best reception.
8. Switching on the device/standby
Move the POWER switch to the ON position to switch the device on.
The display lights up.
If the party sound system is operated via the internal battery or mains
operation, it automatically switches to standby mode after 15 minutes
without a signal source.
If the party sound system is operated via the internal battery, it automatically
switches to standby mode if the battery voltage is too low.
