The Top End Filter can be mounted on a pre-filter cartridge using the double clip (5) or it can also be mounted
to a wall using the wall bracket (6) (screws and pegs are not included). First, the two fittings for the hose
connection must be screwed in until the O-ring seals (for hose assembly and disassembly refer to Fig. 2). The
grid plates with pads (1) and the fleece (2) are placed in the Top End Filter. They prevent the resin from rinsing
out. The flow rate should not exceed 20 l/h. In case of a higher flow rate, we recommend to add another Top End
Filter. Experience has shown that up to 1,500 liters of osmosis water can be demineralized with one filling
(depending on the residual salt content of the osmosis water and the flow rate).
5. Maintenance
The Top End Filter is filled with a high-performance mixed-bed resin. The colour indicator shows when the resin
needs to be replaced. When replacing the resin, make sure that the grid plates, pads and fleece are correctly
positioned.
